Who is X? X, "interplanetary explorer extraordinaire," explores the outermost reaches of the universe "by popular request" in a red flying saucer with a bubble canopy. The galaxy in which X travels is a cruel place where he is shot down or captured by ferocious and disgusting aliens. Frequently, X becomes stranded on an unexplored planet due to alien attacks or malfunctioning equipment. Most of these planets seem devoid of civilization, and often have hostile environments or alien predators. X wears square glasses, or goggles, whose lenses change their shape according to his emotions.
What is this known as, and funda?
What's X? Asteroid 9007 X was discovered on 5 October 1983 by Antonín Mrkos at the Kleť Observatory in the Czech Republic. After assigning its code 9007, discoverers at the Klet observatory in the Czech republic felt that it could only be called X
Name X X is located in the Alpha Centauri system approximately 4.37 light years away from Earth. It is one of the many natural satellites orbiting the gas giant Polyphemus, named for the Polyphemus of Greek mythology. X's atmosphere is a mix of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, xenon, ammonia, methane, and hydrogen sulfide. Humans cannot breathe this for long, so they would have to wear Exo-Packs when outside their buildings or vehicles.
Which event?
What? The very first recorded mention of the X was by the Persian astronomer, Abd Al-Rahman Al Sufi (later known in Europe as "Azophi"), in his Book of Fixed Stars around 964 AD. The next recorded observation was in 1503–4 by Amerigo Vespucci in a letter about his third voyage. In this letter he mentions "three Canopes, two bright and one obscure" Fernão de Magalhães, known in English as Y, on his voyage in 1519, was the first to bring the X into common Western knowledge.
What's this?
On the evening of October 30, 1938, the audience listening to CBS Radio were told they were going to be treated to the music of Ramon Raquello and his orchestra, broadcast live from the Meridian Room at the Park Plaza in New York City. The performance began, but mere minutes into it a reporter from Intercontinental Radio News interrupted to deliver an important announcement. Astronomers had just detected enormous blue flames shooting up from the surface of Mars. The broadcast returned to the music of Ramon Raquello, but soon it was interrupted again with more news. Now a strange meteor had fallen to earth, impacting violently on a farm near Grovers Mill, New Jersey. A reporter was soon on hand to describe the eerie scene around the meteor crater, and the broadcast switched over to continuous coverage of this rapidly unfolding event.

Constellations myth
X the giant crab, plays a minor role in the Twelve Labors of Hercules. While Hercules was busy fighting the multi-headed monster, Lernaean Hydra, the goddess Hera, who hated her step-son Hercules, sent the Crab to distract him. X tried to kill Hercules, but Hercules kicked X so hard that the crab was sent into the sky.
The shape of X resembles a twisting snake, and features as such in some Greek myths. One myth associates it with a water snake that a crow served Apollo in a cup when it was sent to fetch water; Apollo saw through the fraud, and angrily cast the crow, cup, and snake, into the sky. The origin of this story is likely to be the juxtaposition of this constellation with those of Crater, and Y, in the area of the sky known as the Sea
X were the twin brothers Y and Z in Greek mythology, also sometimes known as Iabal and Ivbal. They are known collectively in Greek as the Dioscuri "sons of Zeus."
In Greek mythology, Zeus (the king of the gods) lusts after a young woman named Callisto, a nymph of Artemis. Hera, Zeus' jealous wife, transforms the beautiful Callisto into a bear. Callisto, while in bear form, later encounters her son Arcas. Arcas almost shoots the bear, but to avert the tragedy, Zeus hurls them both into the sky, forming X.
In Greek mythology, X was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, king and queen of the kingdom Ethiopia. Her mother Cassiopeia boasted that she was more beautiful than the Nereids, the nymph-daughters of the sea god Nereus and often seen accompanying Poseidon. To punish the Queen for her arrogance, Poseidon, brother to Zeus and god of the sea, sent a sea monster (Cetus) to ravage the coast of Ethiopia including the kingdom of the vain Queen. Y was returning from having slain the Gorgon Medusa, he found X and slew Cetus
